Three data silos, one weekly view

VTO's revenue, traffic, and SEO data lived in three separate tools with no shared view. We built an automated analytics stack that blends all three in BigQuery, surfaces them in a weekly Looker Studio dashboard, and answers ad-hoc questions in plain English.

Live and running a 15 to 20 minute weekly review, built entirely on Google's free tier and cloneable to a new 19 Prince client in under 90 minutes.

The problem

VTO's numbers lived in three places that did not talk to each other. Revenue and orders sat in Odoo, traffic and behavior in GA4, and search performance in Google Search Console. There was no real insight to start with, so the first job was tagging and setting up clean tracking at the source. Even then there was no single weekly view, so every performance review meant stitching three tools together by hand.

  • Revenue in Odoo, traffic in GA4, SEO in Search Console: three silos, no shared view.
  • No automated weekly report. Each review was assembled manually.
  • No way to ask a quick question of the data without building a new chart.

What we built

One warehouse in BigQuery

GA4 and Search Console feed BigQuery through Google's free native daily exports. Odoo revenue, orders, and email data sync every Sunday night through a Python Cloud Function on Cloud Scheduler. Everything lands in one dataset.

A weekly Looker Studio dashboard

A multi-page dashboard reads straight from BigQuery: revenue and orders, content initiatives, web traffic, email traffic and paid search. My client opens one link and sees the whole picture.

Answers in plain English

The same BigQuery data is wired to Claude through an MCP connection, so ad-hoc questions get answered in conversation. Ask how organic orders trended last month and get a direct answer, with no new chart required.

Free to run, built to clone

The GA4 and Search Console exports are free, and BigQuery's free tier covers VTO's volume, so monthly infrastructure cost is $0. The whole stack is documented and cloneable to a new client in under 90 minutes.

Where it stands

The stack is live. GA4 and Search Console export daily, Odoo syncs weekly, and my client and I run a standing weekly review off the dashboard. Because it is built on documented, free-tier infrastructure, it is the analytics template we clone for new 19 Prince clients.
