Get Into Gear
How we helped Gearsupply get organized, plan for the future and increase revenue.
Gearsupply came out of its founders track record of buying and selling used professional event A/V gear. The market is disaggregated, the opportunity is to create a two-sided marketplace that brought buyers and sellers together.
When 19prince got involved, Gearsupply had built a minimum viable product and was looking to prove out the business and increase investment.
Over six months:
- Stabilized the website by focusing on removing extra services, plugins, and scripts. All unplanned outages came to an end, and we reduced load times by 50%.
- Implemented a Kanban style project management system, which was replicated across all departments. Ideas were captured, tasks were tracked & deadlines were met.
- Instituted weekly meetings where we reported on our projects and key performance indicators.
- Based on strategic growth planning exercises, we identified holes in the organization's resourcing. Once indentified, we create job scorecards for those roles and filled a few key roles with our rigorous hiring methodology.
The engagement end with tight executional focus, meeting quarterly sales goals.
